Development, Construction and Property Management
Property and Asset Management

Successful management of an asset results in tenant retention, proper building maintenance, and above all, profit. An asset needs to produce income in order to be called an asset.

McKenzie has nearly 2 million square feet currently under management. But unlike companies that originated for the purpose of offering property management to others, McKenzie is an owner. We manage all properties as if they are a part of our own portfolio and through the lens of a third-generation owner.

Throughout our history as developer, owner and operator McKenzie has gained relationships, experience and an approach to financial and future cost analysis that demonstrates profitability and tenant satisfaction.

Asset management is not as simple as budgeting and responding to tenant needs. Enlisting a company that understands the outcomes effective management can have as an owner is paramount.

Asset performance relies on many factors. Our team understands how to unlock and create exceptional value, not in theory, but in practice.

In short, dealing with another owner brings insight and decision-making capability that a stand-alone property management company cannot. Whether an office, retail, industrial or mixed-use asset, McKenzie has a proven track record.

  • Insight into how individual decisions impact property values and overall portfolio performance
  • Long standing subcontractor relationships with reliable partners
  • Evaluation of available data combined with decades of experience
  • Track record of successful tenant retention
  • Understanding of the factors that strengthen or weaken the performance of an asset over time
